Genesis Low Rectangular Planter

OUTDOOR USE
Pierce the planter’s base with a screwdriver or drill to create drainage holes and prevent water stagnation.
Place a layer of expanded clay or other draining material at the bottom.
Add a layer of non-woven fabric to allow water passage but block solids.
Add a layer of soil and position the plant on top. Finally, cover the plant with soil until the planter is filled.

INDOOR USE
Place a pot containing the plant inside the planter and use a suitable saucer underneath.
If you prefer to use the planter without an additional pot, you can proceed as above by drilling drainage holes.
Remember to always use a saucer to avoid water damage to floors.

EXTRA TIP
You can also drill the planter’s side wall about 3-5 cm from the bottom to create a “false saucer” inside.
Fill this space with expanded clay, then non-woven fabric, and finally soil.
This way, unless watering is excessive, excess water will remain inside the planter without leaking out and causing issues.

Is the planter suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, the planter can be placed outdoors. If it is not pre-drilled, you must drill the base with a screwdriver, drill, or driver to allow excess water to drain in case of rain. Multiple small drainage holes are preferable to a single large one.
Place a layer of expanded clay at the bottom to prevent soil from escaping through the holes. For taller planters, we also recommend weighting the base with stones or sand to prevent tipping.

Are there any precautions for indoor use?
We recommend placing a layer of expanded clay at the bottom of the planter. This prevents water stagnation while retaining the moisture needed by the plant’s roots.

Is the planter designed to withstand low and high temperatures?
Yes, the planter is frost-proof and resistant to all weather conditions, both summer and winter. However, unlike the planter, plants themselves are not particularly frost-resistant.

Will the color remain the same over time?
Yes, the planters are UV-resistant and do not fade.

Is the planter impact-resistant?
The resin used to make the planter is very durable and will not be damaged by falls from small heights. However, sharp or pointed objects can damage it.

How can I clean the planter?
A common non-abrasive degreaser is suitable for cleaning any planter.

Are discounts available for resellers or bulk orders?

You can view our products by appointment at our Garden Center in Ravenna, via A. Fortis 2.
