The following examples are general advice only. To make the action of the trap more effective, it is recommended to observe when mosquitoes are active and to adapt the timer to the situation in your area:

An example

It is possible to program the BG-Timer so that it releases CO2 only in the hours in which mosquitoes are most active (it has two timing windows). Taking common mosquitoes as an example, these are usually at dawn and dusk. In fact, it is advisable to program the timer from 6.00 to 10.00 and from 16.00 to midnight (time to be adapted for each region). In this way it will be possible to optimize the release of CO2 up to 0.25 kg per day , so as to be able to use a 10 kg CO2 cylinder for a period of 40 days .

Attention : the 9V battery is not included in the package. It is important to pay attention to the polarity of the batteries: connect the hexagonal pole to the round pole (a slight contact of the wrong poles could ruin the device).
