Earth auger Blue Bird NEA 431: for drilling holes in the ground

The earth auger Blue Bird NEA 431 is designed to make it easier to prepare holes in the ground for installing posts and planting. The auger bit drills the hole and must be selected separately according to the hole required and its compatibility with the machine. The 42.7 cc engine develops 1.25 kW at 6,500 rpm; the stated maximum drilling diameter is 250 mm.

The maximum drilling diameter does not make every bit of the same size compatible; the fitting and compatibility with the model must also be checked. The auger bit is not included. For the working depth, consider the bit and any extension configuration specified in the manual.

Choosing the auger bit and use

The drilling limits are values stated by Blue Bird. Check the bit fitting and compatibility with the model. The bit and any extension configuration must follow the manual’s instructions. Check the ground and look for obstacles before work. Follow the manual for gripping the handles, protective equipment and maintenance.

The engine requires a 2% fuel mixture with synthetic oil. Prepare the fuel and carry out maintenance according to the model’s manual.
