Remote-controlled tracked brush mower Blue Bird FM 24-70: mowing vegetation by remote control

The remote-controlled tracked brush mower Blue Bird FM 24-70 is designed to make mowing vegetation easier by guiding the machine with a remote control. The tracks support movement while the operator controls manoeuvres from a position permitted by the manual, without walking directly behind the cutting assembly.

This remote-controlled brush mower is guided by the operator using radio control to manage movement and manoeuvres from a distance during mowing.

Cutting and power supply

The hybrid system combines a 452 cc Loncin engine for mowing with two electric drive motors. The floating blades work across a 685 mm width. The drive motor power ratings are separate from the cutting motor rating.

Control and working limits

The radio link operates in the 2.4G band; the stated communication range is 200 m and does not establish a safe operating distance in every environment. The stated lateral slope limit is 30°; the terrain, orientation and working conditions must comply with the manual.
