Lawn tractor Blue Bird TR SL 98M: for mowing the lawn from a seated driving position

The lawn tractor Blue Bird TR SL 98M is designed to make maintaining green areas easier from a seated driving position. The 98 cm steel deck covers a strip of lawn with each pass, while the 352 cc Loncin engine powers the machine.

Transmission and cutting height

The mechanical transmission distinguishes this version from hydrostatic models; select gears using the controls specified in the manual. Cutting height is adjustable from 30 to 90 mm in seven positions to choose how short to cut the grass. Electric starting and an adjustable seat complete the configuration.

Managing grass clippings

Side discharge redistributes clippings beside the machine. The mulching function finely chops grass and redistributes it onto the lawn. Follow the model’s instructions to set up this mode.

Use and maintenance

Follow the manual for fuel, lubrication and pre-work checks. Clean and maintain the machine with the engine switched off, checking guards and fasteners.
