Petrol blower vacuum Blue Bird BLV 281: for blowing, collecting and shredding leaves

The petrol blower vacuum Blue Bird BLV 281 is designed to make garden cleaning easier by combining leaf blowing, vacuuming and shredding. The blower function gathers leaves before collection; in vacuum mode, the material is collected and shredded in the 45-litre bag, reducing its volume. The 27.2 cc two-stroke engine allows work without a mains connection.

Features and use

Blue Bird states a shredding ratio of 10:1, indicating the volume reduction of the collected leaves. The manufacturer describes the shredded material as ready for composting. The blower function can be used to gather leaves before collection.

The 10:1 shredding ratio describes the volume reduction stated by Blue Bird; it does not guarantee that every type of leaf material will always produce the same result. The 45-litre bag holds the vacuumed and shredded material.
