The Herstera Deco planter collection features planters of varying heights and depths that can be seamlessly connected. With a clean, linear design, this collection easily integrates into any space or environment. The combination of black steel and marble- or wood-effect laminate panels adds the look and warmth of natural materials. When the planters are connected, the structure is free of internal walls, encouraging natural root growth. Furthermore, a wide range of compatible accessories allows for customization to meet the specific needs of any project. Each planter features a base with drainage holes to prevent waterlogging and promote plant health. The adjustable feet included with each planter ensure stability and proper drainage, even on uneven terrain. The laminate panel is magnetically attached to the planter and can be easily removed from the front using the included tool, without the need to disassemble the planter.
Premium construction
The planters are made of high-quality hot-dip galvanized steel and coated with Tiger Drylac polyester powder coating. This combined coating system has a C4 high/C5 medium resistance to adverse conditions according to ISO 12944 standards. The exterior HPL (high-pressure laminate) panel is highly durable, weather-resistant, UV-resistant, and low-maintenance. It resists moisture, scratches, and impacts, making it ideal for outdoor use in harsh conditions. The planters feature premium stainless steel hardware for long-lasting durability.
Adjustable volume
Each planter includes a base that allows you to adjust the height and volume of the soil in three options: 30%, 70% or 100%.
Lighting options
Enhance the ambiance with Herstera's optional lighting stand and magnetic LED strips. Illuminate the front of your planter, creating a stunning visual effect that transforms your space.
Interior protection
To preserve the protective paint layer inside the planter, we recommend using a layer of geotextile felt, such as Herstera felt bags.

Choosing the right accessories for Herstera metal planters enhances both functionality and the look of your green space. We offer many solutions, including self-watering systems for healthy plants, thermal insulation to protect roots in winter, and outdoor LED lighting that adds elegance to your garden. In addition, our extension kits, supports and wheels make handling and customization easier. With Herstera, every accessory is designed to improve plant care and enhance your space.
The combination of hot-dip galvanized steel and thermosetting powder coating provides very high resistance to corrosion.
Hot-dip galvanizing
The process involves immersing steel in molten zinc, forming a thick, durable, well-adhered zinc coating. This coating acts as a physical barrier, protecting the steel from corrosive elements such as moisture, chemicals, and weather.
TigerDrylac®
Tiger Drylac® architectural-grade powder coating provides additional protection against UV rays, abrasion, and harsh environmental conditions. The combination of galvanizing and powder coating provides superior durability and excellent corrosion resistance, making it the ideal choice for harsh environments.

Assembly
To ensure the product's resistance to corrosion, it is essential to keep the protective coating intact.
Be sure to mount the product on a soft surface, such as carpet or cardboard, to avoid damaging the protective paint.
Use only the tools provided. Power screws and other tools could damage the product.
Always use the supplied adjustable feet to raise the pot off the ground. This separation will ensure proper water drainage and prevent the base of the pot from being damaged by the soil.
Maintenance
If necessary, clean the product with a damp cloth or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use acidic products.
To ensure the product's resistance to corrosion, it is essential to keep the protective coating intact.
Any accidental damage to the protective coating should be treated promptly with rust-preventing primer and a can or paint marker of the same color. The sooner the repair is made, the less likely the material will deteriorate.
When installing wooden products or parts outdoors, proper treatment is required. Maintenance frequency and methods should be adapted to local weather and environmental conditions, taking into account factors such as sun exposure, rainfall, humidity, temperature, and the presence of wood-boring insects in the area. This may include, but is not limited to, the annual application of weather-resistant oils, sealants, stains, or paints. Consult your local hardware store for the best products available in your area.
Correct Use
To ensure the best conditions for your planter and plants, follow these recommendations for optimal use:
1. Geotextile felt bag: Before planting in the planter, it's important to protect the protective liner. Use the Herstera geotextile felt bag accessory to provide an additional layer of protection and prevent potential damage to the liner. Please note that planting directly in the planter without the geotextile felt bag will void the product warranty.
2. Insulation panels: Insulating the walls of the planter with 20 mm thick insulation panels protects the roots from outside temperatures.
3. Substrate: We recommend using substrates that allow for root aeration.
4. Drainage material: To ensure proper drainage, it's essential to fill the bottom with a layer of drainage material such as volcanic gravel or expanded clay beads. The thickness of this layer will depend on the size of the pot and the type of plant you're placing in it.
5. Geotextile felt layer: Prevent the substrate from filtering through the drainage material and blocking the outlet holes. Plants with aggressive roots are not recommended.
